In the month of August, CIDO's mobile health team, supported by Stichting Vluchteling (SV), reached 1,659 people through health services in Akobo East, Jonglei State.
1,584 individuals received health education and hygiene promotion on the top three most prevalent morbidities including malaria, respiratory tract infection, and uncomplicated diarrhoea.
86 children with severe acute malnutrition and medical complications were identified and referred for treatment at a stabilization centre. 211 women attended antenatal care, and 16 delivered safely with a skilled birth attendant present.
