CIDO's team in Pibor implementing the UNHCR project, yesterday held its monthly Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with persons with disabilities, the team used this opportunity to invite the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) to deliver a key awareness session on the risks of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW).
Participants expressed their sincere gratitude to CIDO for creating the opportunity, and appreciated UNMAS for sharing life-saving information that will help them protect themselves, their families, and their communities from ERW hazards.
