Provision of case management services to children and adults .

Due to emergencies in South Sudan men, women and children are affected negatively when human rights are violated . There is usually so much trauma caused by death of loved ones, displacement and loss of property or livelihoods.We provide both Gender based violence prevention and response services as well as Child protection services . CIDO Social workers provide specialized services like case management, psychosocial support, mental health, family tracing and reunification services, foster -care , support to released children associated with armed conflict and direct support to vulnerable women and child-headed households through cash-based interventions. We work with other protection partners to strengthen referral systems across the counties to ensure that beneficiaries access timely and quality support for child protection and Gender based violence programming . In addition, CIDO teams work with various stakeholders through different approaches like Engaging men in accountable practices (EMAP), SASA, Girl Shine Curriculum , Women and Girl friendly space programming (WGFS), Child-friendly space programming (CFS) ,youth friendly space programming (YFS) to promote the rights of women and children and ensure increased participation of women in leadership positions. The teams are working with female paralegals and lawyers to provide pro-bono services to survivors of sexual violence.
